More on Kate McNeil in Vital Signs

We've already taken two brief looks (here and here) at Kate McNeil in the 1986 TV movie Vital Signs. Well, it's time to have a glance at the project again!

Vital Signs was a made-for-television movie that originally aired on CBS in early 1986. Besides the lovely Kate McNeil, the rest of the principal cast was comprised of Gary Cole, Ed Asner and Barbara Barrie. The plot revolved around the problems faced by a pair of father-son doctors and their wives. Unfortunately, Vital Signs is one of those TV movies that never received much attention in the first place and was subsequently lost in the vast glut of 1980s television.

In 1986, Kate McNeil co-starred alongside Gary Cole, Ed Asner and Barbara Barrie in a TV movie called Vital Signs. I haven't seen the movie and I just hope that it is out there somewhere, maybe in the hands of some collector who will someday let the rest of the world have a chance to see it. All we have now are short advertisements for Vital Signs and that is what the images on this page are taken from.

Kate McNeil in Vital Signs

In 1986, between her featured roles on two miniseries, Kane & Abel and North and South Book II, Kate McNeil appeared as the wife of Gary Cole and the daughter-in-law of Ed Asner in the TV movie Vital Signs. Kate McNeil and Gary Cole would re-team four years later when she guest starred on a 1990 epsiode of Cole's Midnight Caller TV show.
